Yannick Bolasie wants to add more goals and assists

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie may have had a brilliant season, but he has told the London Evening Standard that he knows he can still improve

Bolasie has dazzled with his direct approach throughout the campaign, but the 25-year-old is not getting caught up in hype surrounding his ability.

Talk has started to emerge that the 25-year-old could leave to join Liverpool this summer, as per the Daily Mail, but Bolasie insists that he still can progress further.

“I know I can do much better," he admitted. “I can create more goals and I definitely think I can score more. That is what I will be working on, and I can get stronger and faster.

“I do not really listen to hype because it slows down people. I have been playing in the Premier League for two years but I am going to work hard to get those improvements. I am looking forward to next season to show people that this season was no fluke.”

If there is one area that Bolasie does need to work on then it is his end product, and it is good to see that he has a realisation of where he needs to develop.

Bolasie has worked hard to progress over recent years and is a much more consistent player now than he has even been before, but there is still work to be done.

The skilful wide-man has managed to achieve a return of four goals and six assists this term and, although that total is respectable, it still isn't as high as Bolasie would like it to be.

It presents him with a challenge for next season and Bolasie will be hoping that he can complete it, as he looks to enhance his reputation even further.
