Could Liverpool's revival be down to divine inspiration? The Reds have not lost a Premier League game since a fan turned up dressed as Jesus for the 2-2 draw with Arsenal on 22 December. Since then they have risen from the bottom half of the table to sixth.
The Reds' season look a nailed-on disaster at the end of last year with their Premier League form in a slump and their Champions League hopes crucified.
But their hopes of a top four finish have been raised from the dead in recent weeks thanks to a fine run of form - starting with a 2-2 draw against Arsenal on December 21.
Brendan Rodgers looked to be heading for the sack before the supporter, dressed as Jesus carrying the sign 'Brendan I've got your back', appeared on that fateful day on Merseyside.
Liverpool have since lost just once, a Capital One Cup semi-final defeat at Chelsea, and are now just two points off the Premier League top four while they remain in contention for FA Cup and Europa League glory.
They face Manchester City next in the league and Rodgers will, no doubt, be hoping for some more divine intervention.
