Jose Mourinho believes the fourth official should have an easy time controlling the two benches on Sunday, because there is a mutual respect between himself and Mauricio Pochettino
The Tottenham boss, unlike some others, has never had a dispute with Mourinho and shows a great deal of respect towards his Premier League counterparts.
Of course any friendships will have to be put to one side when the two teams line-up for this weekend's Capital One Cup Final, with silverware very much at the forefront of their minds.
When asked to discuss his relationship with Pochettino, Mourinho said: "It is a relationship without problems.
"I like the guy, I feel that he likes me. I cannot say we are close friends because normally in football you do not have time to develop close relationships.
"He's a guy I respect, I know I feel that he respects me too and it is the same way with his staff.
"We don't have problems so it will be an easy job for the fourth official because there will be peace between the two benches, and we will do our jobs."
