Alexis Sanchez insists he did NOT allow friends to secretly film him having sex with his ex-girlfriend
The Arsenal star was caught at the centre of a sex scandal at the weekend after his ex, Valentina Roth, claimed the Chilean international had knowingly allowed his friends to film them from a wardrobe as they engaged in intercourse.
But Sanchez took to Twitter to deny the claims, both in English and Spanish, insisting that the story is false.
"Lately a lot has been said about something that is supposed to have happened at my house in Santiago," he said on his official account.
"That story is FALSE. Never in my life have I disrespected that person nor any other woman.
"I beg you all to consider my professional career as well as that of the lady that invented that story, and reach your own conclusions.
"This will be the only time I will refer to this topic," he added.
Roth, a former Olympic gymnast, insists that she now "hates" the Arsenal star, and "will never forgive him" for the way their year-long relationship ended.
Sanchez has enjoyed a fine first season after moving to the Emirates in a £35million deal from Barcelona last summer.
The Chilean has scored 18 goals in all competitions for Arsene Wenger's men, although his strike in the win over QPR last week was his first for two months after hamstring problems.
However he insists he is happy in England despite the intensity of the Premier League, and wants to get even better.
"I am well adapted to the country and the league,” he told the London Evening Standard.
"I want to expand my knowledge of English football in general and Arsenal and my team-mates in particular, but overall I love this league.
"At the end of the day, football was invented in this country, right? I live where football was invented. That makes me really happy.
