Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin is back in training despite suffering a broken nose in the weekend win over Everton
The Frenchman also is not showing any physical sign of distress despite the obvious soreness of the injury.
Manager Arsene Wenger indicated at his press conference he felt positive about the midfielder, telling Arsenal.com: "We have to check Francis Coquelin with the medical people this morning in training to see whether he’ll be available or not, but there’s no obvious reason why he should not be."
Wenger had been quoted by The Mail after the weekend win saying that Coquelin could land up needing surgery, but this appears fortunately for the Gunners not to be the case.
Arsenal face QPR on Wednesday night, are are also boosted by the return of midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
New Gunners signing Krystian Bielik featured in training once again, but Wenger said the Pole will not be in the first team squad travelling to Loftus Road, telling the club website the reason he signed him in January was so he could adapt to the club early, rather than make any contribution to their 2014/15 season.
