I don't dream of having money and cars, I dream of English Premier League

The talented Ghanaian midfielder added that he dreams of playing in the Premier League in the future after his time with the Rossoblu is over.

The 18-year-old, whose current contract with the Isolani is set to expire in June 2020, has admitted that he hopes to follow in the footsteps of his idol and fellow Ghanaian Michael Essien but insists that he first has plans to make his mark with the Sardi.

Donsah spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport about his mission to one day land himself in England’s top tier and commented on his journey as a footballer thus far.

“I don’t dream of having money and cars, I dream of playing in the Premier League,” said the Ghanaian youngster, who has reportedly become a target of Arsenal in recent months.

“I know I’ll make it, just like my idol Essien. I would first like to make my mark at Cagliari, [club president] Tommaso Giulini and [sporting director] Francesco Marroccu have shown a lot of confidence in me.

“If I ever end up in the Premier League it will be after my time at Cagliari has come to an end.

“This has been a great journey, starting in Africa and then arriving in Italy to play for both Palermo and Hellas Verona before coming here.”
