Leo Messi meets Europe's second tallest man

When little Leo Messi meets the second tallest man in Europe, it's a textbook photo opportunity

So while Messi was a special guest at a recent Washington Wizards basketball game, he was introduced to a man named Gheorghe Muresan - a former pro basketball player.

The Romanian (recently voted the 22nd greatest Romanian of all time!) stands at 7 feet and 7 inches tall, which is exactly 3 feet taller than Lionel Messi.

Upon meeting Gheorghe, Messi simply said "Hola, Gheorghe".

Messi was at the game with the Argentina football squad ahead of their match against El Salvador, and Gheorghe Muresan works as an ambassador for the Wizards.

The other big news came as a female fan of Messi live tweeted her attempt to get a selfie with him, and announced she was going to marry him this summer.
