Video: Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric dispute a tight call at Real Madrid training

There’s no such thing as a casual training kickabout with Cristiano Ronaldo around; the 2015 Ballon D’Or wants to win every ball, and shows the same competitive spirit in training as he does in the real games

And that competitive streak was clearly visible at training yesterday, as he disputed a tight call with Luka Modric.

Modric argued that he’d kept the ball in play by the finest of margins, while Ronaldo protested that the ball had crossed the line.

Surprisingly, the Croat won the argument, and Modric’s say was final, much to the chagrin of Ronaldo.
