Video: John Terry prevented Gary Cahill from marking Thiago Silva

John Terry grabs Gary Cahill

For only the second time this season Chelsea conceded two goals from set pieces in a single game as Paris Saint-Germain eliminated the Premier League leaders in the UEFA Champions League on away goals

The Blues headed into the second leg 1-1 on aggregate from the first leg at the Parc des Princes three weeks ago and were given a massive helping hand after only 30 minutes at home on Wednesday night when Zlatan Ibrahimović was ridiculously sent off for a nothing challenge on Oscar.

Gary Cahill gave Chelsea the lead with less than 10 minutes remaining in normal time before David Luiz broke free from Branislav Ivanović to head home PSG’s first equaliser five minutes before full-time.

In extra-time, Eden Hazard converted a penalty kick after a stupid handball from Thiago Silva who had both arms raised high in the area when going in for an aerial challenge.

The Brazilian defender would have the last laugh as he headed home the French side’s second equaliser seven minutes from time in extra-time to send Paris Saint-Germain through on away goals.

Check out the video below as Chelsea captain John Terry grabs hold of fellow centre-back Gary Cahill as the ball is crossed into Silva to head home PSG’s equaliser.  The first replay on the video even shows that Terry’s grab of Cahill prevented him from jumping with the goalscoring centre-back whom he was seemingly marking.
