Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been ruled out of Juventus' Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid, but he is nearing full fitness and could be back in time for the return leg
Pogba picked up a hamstring injury at the second round stage against Borussia Dortmund back in April and is yet to return for Juve in their pursuit of a historic treble.
But the former Manchester United midfielder will return to first team training next week, after the Real game, and could have a chance of playing at the Santiago Bernabeu a week later as Juve look to reach a first Champions League final in 12 years.
Pogba's recovery is on track with the Italian champions' medical staff's original diagnosis.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed last week that the club were pulling out all the stops in an effort to make their star man available for the second leg.
