Mourinho relies on cash to win silverware

FERNANDO TORRES has issued a scathing review of Jose Mourinho's management style, claiming he relies on cash to win silverware.

Torres, who is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid from Ac Milan, told AS that it's money that makes Mourinho a top boss.
And since moving to the La Liga holders, he's experienced a different management style from Diego Simeone - one that doesn't rely on figures.
He said: "They're very different. It's difficult to compare, because it's not the same being on a team where you have players you want, spend the money you want and after that they win, that's what makes Mourinho.
"That's not easy. And with Simeone the experience you have with Atleti is winning with other resources.

Fernando Torres says he doesn't know how Jose Mourinho would cope at Atletico
"I don't know what Mourinho would do at Atletico or Simeone at Chelsea. What I like is that they are very intelligent to adapt to what they have."
The Spanish international who set Chelsea back a staggering £50million in 2011, soon found himself out of favour once Mourinho returned.

And the arrival of Diego Costa last summer put the final nail in the coffin for the once prolific Premier League goal scorer.
Torres made a total of 110 league appearances for the Blues but netted only 20 times, compared to 65 goals in 102 goals for Liverpool.
