Khedira and Schalke 04 reach agreement
According to Marca, Sami will move to Germany in the end of the season
The Spanish newspaper Marca report this morning that Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has reached an agreement with the German team Schalke 04, and so he will move to Gelsenkirchen in the end of the season.
We already know that Sami had accepted to be interested in a move to Schalke 04 after last Tuesday's game but, according to Marca, both parties had been engaged in conversations before and after the game.
Given that Khedira's contract with Real Madrid expires in June, he is free to negotiate and, even, to sign a new contract with any team for the next season but, still according to Marca, he has asked Real Madrid and Schalke 04 to wait until the season ends to make his transfer official. What we may be sure of is that Khedira will not be a Real Madrid player after June 30th.
