Louis van Gaal reveals Man Utd's full-time team-talk after Arsenal defeat

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal told his side that they have no one else to blame but themselves in the FA Cup quarter-finals defeat to Arsenal

The Red Devils fell to a 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford, the first time the Gunners have won there since 2006.

And Van Gaal believes United threw the game away, with both Nacho Monreal and Danny Welbeck finding the back of the net due to the hosts' poor defending.

"I've said in the dressing room we gave the game away by ourselves and that is the biggest disappointment," the Dutchman explained.

"In the second half, we had the first chance also then we gave it away again.

"We don't lose from the opponent, we lost from ourselves and it was very disappointing. 

"You play this match to win; to beat the opponent, we wanted to be in the semi-final."
