Over in South America on Wednesday night, Boca Juniors thumped Venezuelan club Zamora 5-0 in the Copa Libertadores
The match proved a special occasion for new Boca striker Dani Osvaldo, who recently joined the Argentine giant son loan from Southampton.
Saints’ striker Osvaldo scored Boca’s final two goals in the whitewash of Zamora, and the Italian celebrated his first goal with a picture perfect moment.
After sticking the ball into the net from close range, Boca’s outfield players all ran to the touchline so a member of the club’s staff could take a group photo before the match could continue.
After the game, which Osvaldo finished off with an 82nd-minute spot kick, he explained that former Roma teammate Francesco Totti’s selfie was the inspiration. And in doing so, he revealed that he doesn’t really know what a selfie is.
