Cristiano Ronaldo's work ethic has never been in question and it seems the Real Madrid superstar is looking to instill that into his son from an early age too
Ronaldo took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to share a touching family moment with his followers.
The 30-year-old posted a video of himself with his son, Cristiano Jr. out on their lawn as the former engaged in some sit ups.
And with Cristiano Jr. watching lovingly on, it's not long before his father helps him attempt some sit ups of his own while head-to-toe in a Real kit.
'I think I found the perfect training partner!' Ronaldo wrote on Twitter accompanied with the video of the moment.
The heartwarming scene would have come as a welcome distraction to the forward after Real were dumped out of the Champions League semi-finals by Juventus on Wednesday night.
Ronaldo scored the opening goal from the penalty spot in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu but former Real team-mate Alvaro Morata's effort was enough to secure a 1-1 draw for Juventus and an aggregate 3-2 victory that sees them reach the Berlin final against Barcelona on June 6.
And coming to the defence of his team-mate following their defeat, Real left back Marcelo has labelled the club's No 7 a 'machine' and refused to accept any recent criticisms and talk of a dip in form.
'Cristiano has not had a dip in form,' Marcelo told the club's official website.
'You are used to seeing him score three or four goals per game and when he scores one you say his form has dipped.
'He is a machine, he works extremely hard and helps the team. It is unfair to talk of a dip in form.'
