Arsene Wenger praises 'excellent' Francis Coquelin after performance against QPR
Arsenal made it four Premier League wins in a row after a 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Wednesday night
The Gunners defeated Everton 2-1 on Sunday, and were then presented with a short trip across London to take on relegation-threatened QPR.
After a quiet first half, Arsene Wenger's men kicked into gear in the second half, with Olivier Giroud scoring the opener after 64 minutes.
Alexis Sanchez made it 2-0 just five minutes later, and whilst Charlie Austin set up a frantic finale with a late goal back for QPR, Arsenal managed to hang on for all three points.
Midfielder Francis Coquelin started for Arsenal despite suffering a broken nose against Everton, and played with a protective mask over his face as a result.
The Frenchman, 23, has been superb in the Arsenal midfield of late, and didn't let his recent injury hamper him with another fine display - drawing praise from Wenger in the process.
The Gunners boss spoke after the game, and with quotes reported by the Arsenal official website, Wenger moved to praise the 'excellent' Coquelin.
