John Terry: Eden Hazard is in the same class with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Chelsea captain John Terry believes that Eden Hazard is one of the best players in the world

The Belgium international has been in top form under Jose Mourinho, scoring 18 goals in all competitions as the Blues storm towards their first Premier League title win in five years.

Hazard scooped the PFA Players' Player of the Year award on Sunday ahead of Tottenham's Harry Kane and Manchester United's David De Gea, and Terry reckons that the wing wizard is now playing at the same levels of Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.He told the club's website: "It's a great individual honour and one of the best, being voted by your fellow professionals who you play against.

"Eden winning it above some great players is a big achievement. He has been excellent. As a whole Chelsea have been great and individually he has set the Premier League alight again.

"He did last year and won the Young Player and do it again this season is exceptional. He is up there with Messi and Ronaldo for sure. He is young, hungry and he can only get better."
