Robert Lewandowski and Jerome Boateng had to be separated by team-mates after clashing during Bayern Munich training on Wednesday
Boateng was unhappy with a robust challenge from Lewandowski and squared up to the Polish striker.
Lewandowski stood his ground when confronted by Boateng and Rafinha, Medhi Benatia and Bayern captain Philipp Lahm had to step in and separate the pair.
Unimpressed by what he had seen, Bayern boss Pep Guardiola sent the feuding pair back to the changing rooms.
The spat comes 10 days after Guardiola and striker Thomas Muller clashed on the touchline during the 3-0 Champions League semi-final first leg defeat to Barcelona.
Muller's bust-up with Guardiola sparked speculation that he would leave Bayern in the summer, with Louis van Gaal - who gave the German his debut at the club - reportedly ready to offer £40million to bring the 25 year old to Manchester United.
Defeat against Barcelona effectively ended Bayern's season as they had already wrapped up the Bundesliga title and were out of the German cup.
Bayern take on Mainz in their final league game on May 23 at the Allianz Arena.
In better news for the Guardiola's side, defender David Alaba returned to training for the first time after injuring his left knee during a friendly for Australia in March.
The 22-year-old started jogging and running a week and a half ago and was present with his team-mates on Wednesday at training.
Meanwhile, according to German newspaper Bild, Bayern want Raheem Sterling to replace Franck Ribery next season.
The paper claims that Guardiola is frustrated the Frenchman has played just 15 Bundesliga games this season because of injury and that he wants to sign a high-profile winger.
Sterling has rejected a new £100,000-a-week deal at Anfield and has told Liverpool he wants to leave the club when the transfer window reopens.
Bild also claim that Guardiola instructed his agent brother, Pere, to contact Sterling's agent earlier in the season and that he will now make a second attempt to lure the 20-year-old to Germany.
