Outgoing Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard picked up the Outstanding Achievement award at the club's end of season ceremony
The Reds captain will make his final Liverpool appearance against Stoke on Sunday before heading to LA Galaxy in the summer.
Speaking at the awards ceremony in the city's Echo Arena, Gerrard said: 'I think people are trying to get me to cry the amount of speeches I've done this week.
'I'd like to thank all the managers and coaches, team-mates and ex-team-mates.'
During a week in which Gerrard has been the main focus ahead of his Liverpool farewell, the 34-year-old insisted the night's plaudits should go to Philippe Coutinho who won four awards including Player of the Year.
'I'm a little bit bored of speaking of myself to be honest,' said Gerrard. 'I want to pay tribute to Philippe Coutinho tonight, he's cleaned up on the night and I hope he stays here for a long time. I'd like to congratulate all the award winners.'
The Brazilian also scooped the First Team Players Player of the Year award, the Performance of the Year award and Goal of the Year gong for his stunning strike against Southampton in February.
Gerrard, meanwhile, leaves the club after 17 years service having played 709 games and scoring 185 goals.
