Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has revealed that although he can imagine himself playing for another team, he would never sign for arch rivals Manchester United
Skrtel is reportedly in the middle of a contract dispute with the Reds after slamming their contract offer as 'unacceptable'.
But when asked by Slovakian TV if he would consider a move to the Red Devils, Skrtel laughed off the question.
He said: 'I can imagine transfer to anywhere, but United? Never.'
Skrtel has become a fans' favourite at Anfield after joining the Premier League club from Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg in 2008.
He has made 220 league appearances for the Reds, while also helping them lift the League Cup in 2012, but his future is in doubt.
The 30-year-old is currently on international duty with Slovakia as he prepares for Sunday's crunch Euro 2016 qualifying clash with Macedonia.
With five games played, Slovakia top Group C with 15 points and sit above holders Spain.
